Hi Everyone!!
Since the RTOT meeting was postponed last month, it is going to be happening this Saturday at 10am. If anyone is interested in helping coordinate the SF Region’s Theology on Tap this year, you’re more than welcome to join in the fun at the San Fernando Regional Office*.
We are currently looking for young adult volunteers to serve in a variety of capacities from hospitality, to prayer, food coordination, decorations, etc. We’ve got a good group of people who currently serve on the team and are always looking for some new blood!
RTOT is a great way to interact with other young adults in our region while hearing some really awesome speakers sharing their faith. If anyone is interested in coming up on Saturday, feel free to leave a comment and maybe we can head over together!
*The SF Regional Office is located at: 15105 San Fernando Mission Rd. in Mission Hills.

This Year I Feel Like I’ve Been Led To Take On A Sort Of Prayer Apostolate On Behalf Of Atheists and Agnostics…
I spent some time this week in the Religion/Politics forum @ BodyBuilding.com, I’ve witnessed all the efforts on behalf of Christians and all believers in their attempt to shed light and reason upon the disposition of Atheists/Agnostics. I have come to accept that no matter what is said on behalf of the cause it all falls on deaf ears and hardened hearts.
I personally remember myself not fully convinced yet finding my only hope in such a beautiful concept. Not until God took the initiative to manifest his love to me interiorly did I come to be convicted in the truth of his very real existence. The truth set my heart on fire with great joy and an ever increasing charity in God’s love. “If only I tell others what he has done for me they to can come to fully believe and experience the fullness of joy”, I thought to myself. Sadly not so. I have noticed that throughout the lives of the saints they all came to this one point of a personal revelation which seemed to just set them on fire for God’s love, driven by a deep desire for him which nothing could ever come close to fulfill.
Well this is where my prayers come in. For example take the life of St. Dominic, he strived in preaching and holy works to bring the Gospel to those of his time, sadly very little came of all his own effort until he fell to prayer, and the greatest being the institution and promulgation of the Most Holy Rosary, did finally much get accomplished.
I’ve heard it been said that God can accomplish much more in our resting(interior disposition in prayer) than we can ever accomplish in our activism. Don’t get me wrong , I know the Holiness of work, as lazy as I am, but prayer is the ultimate Compliment to our works. Jesus said,” Without me you can do nothing.” Prayer, deep intimate union with God, is the “One Thing” that will not be taken from us, as Jesus himself says to Martha in regards to Mary[Luke 10:38-42]. Why is this?…Because that union with God that we are given here in prayer while we live this life is the “One Thing” that will remain throughout our eternity with the Father in heaven.
[Psalm 27:4]” One thing I ask of the LORD,
this is what I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD
and to seek him in his temple.
There are oodles and oodles to be said on this subject, but let me regress to the main objective of this post. I have posted a thread in the bb.com forum, it states a challenge of faith to all unbelievers. Please check it out and join me in our prayers. I strongly warn you though that you will look upon some outrageous blasphemy on behalf of these Atheists/Agnostics, hopefully it will ignite a holy anger in you to more than willingly join me on praying for conversions. Not that we want to prove ourselves right and them wrong, but that they may come to share in the joy, and that their testimonies may come to serve for the greater proclamation of the Gospel. Also for the sake of our Lords great love that is being spurned by their arrogant ignorance. Please Join Me
